International chef day| ACET, Amritsar
ACET celebrated #InternationalChefsDay comprising of theme “Food for Growing Up” with a great zeal in the college campus. #DepartmentofHotelManagement was the organizing team of the event. The event intended to encourage the society or our growing kids to think about the profession they’d like to have in future and how eating healthy foods could help them to reach at their desired lives.
Students of Hotel Management & Catering Technology in the graceful looks of the chefs attended the Annual Chefs Parade in the campus. Afterwards they took an Oath for becoming a well and noble towards their profession in the upcoming days, also they vowed to uphold the professional dignity and will show their gratitude and responsibility towards the society.
The esteemed Chefs, #ChefArundeepSingh, #ChefDrishtiNanda & #ChefJyotiArora lighten up the event with their presence and on the occasion, they hosted various master classes based on the importance of healthy eating, Icing techniques, Salad Making along with the Food Presentation and numerous other techniques on how to be creative with the food were the main focus of the workshop. Additionally they motivated the scholars towards having and making healthy diets that comprises of nutritional and nourishing properties.
The #GuestofHonor Madam Ragini Sharma (Director Finance, ACET); worthy Principal, ACET, Dr. V.K. Banga and other dignitaries of the college, made the event gracious with their presence and felicitated the participating students./p>
For the practical exposure of the students of HMCT Department, various stalls comprising of healthy and nutritional food, were there which were rejoiced by the all, present in the celebration.
It was really great feeling to celebrate the day and with the Chef’s input, scholars’ interests, education, help and depending upon various other factors the evolving chefs will be able to create wonderful and delicious recipes out of the healthy foods and this will help turn them into the healthiest growing nation.
